#crackling #hissing on #Rocksmith 2014? Try this
I always played Rocksmith 1 and RockSmith 2014 with the volume cranked all the way up to 11 on the guitar, the game's audio settings and the Windows sound manager settings.
But one day a constant crackling/hiss turned up on both Rocksmith 1 and Rocksmith 2014.
I changed the setting from my RealTek sound manager but if you don't have realtek do it like this:
Try going to sound- recording- STEREO MIX- properties- advanced options-choose 16 bit studio quality. That took care of a constant hissing.
On a side note:
In a previous video I asserted that "you cannot get that cool, eerie feedback sound from a boombox."
After fixing the crackling/hissing issue I decided to test out the boombox´s feedback capabilities again and...
...you CAN get that cool, eerie feedback sound from a boombox.
I use a Sony Xplod.

Can you use an amp with Rocksmith 2012 or Rocksmith 2014?
